Yeld and climate 1540 lbs. of grape/7440 fl. oz. of wine produced. Typical Mediterranean, hot and dry summers, mild and rainy winters.
Harvest, vinification, maturation and refining Manually performed during the last week of September. During sunny and windy days, the grapes are exposed to the sun on mats. At night they are covered with plastic sheeting to prevent moisture. The grapes are pressed whole and, after a short maceration on the skins, fermentation starts in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. The wine is left on its lees for several months before going through a pre-bottling. Just before bottling a certain quantity of Vermentino di Gallura is added.
Color Golden warm.
Bouquet Hints of citrus and honey.
