Rosso dei Colli del Limbara IGT has a very round taste. Tannins are soft and well balanced by the strong wine structure.

Harvest, vinification, maturation and refining It is operated manually starting early September till the end of October. After being manually pressed fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Each varietal is vinificated separately and blended after ageing in barrique. Then the wine goes in barrique where it sits on its lees for 18 months. Barrique are of fine consistency, medium toast, second-fill. While in aok batonage is repeatedly implemented to stimulate malolactic fermentation. Then the wine is bottled and rests for further 6 more months before reaching the market.
Color Garnet red with purple hues.
Bouquet Reminds of blackberry jam and small red berries. It has hints of underwood and menthol.
Serving temperature 57-64°F.
Food pairing It goes well with grilled red meat, boar, goat, spicy dishes. Great with medium aged cheeses.
